We would also like to wish our partners in the United States a happy Independence Day on the 4th.

Midland Chamber of Commerce Partnership

We are excited to announce that ShopMidland.com has entered into a partnership with the local Chamber of Commerce.

The Chamber is now using ShopMidland.com to power it's member database.

The map section is generated from the Chamber's member profiles on ShopMidland.com (http://www.shopmidland.com/chamber/members), and whenever businesses post content to ShopMidland.com, it will now go to the Chamber's site as well.

This integration gives members more incentive to use ShopMidland.com, provides the Chamber with a much richer experience for their visitors, without any administrative work, and ties the local business community together in a much more cohesive partnership.

Additionally, the same priority placement ordering of results can be found on the Chamber's site, making paid packages even more valuable.

There is a revenue share available to the Chamber as well, so they have a strong incentive to help us upgrade their 500+ members into premium packages.

This system is available for use in all of our Partner communities, and we have the contracts, presentations and other documents available for use as templates. Product Focus - Marketplace Bulk Import

Did you know that we've updated the marketplace import tool to significantly improve its features?

This new system enables businesses to import photos, specify categories, and delete items that aren't in the list.

It is perfect for use with manufacturer catalogs, existing ecommerce stores, as well as the inventory for many car dealers.

You can use this handy tool to greatly expand your local marketplace content, and we strongly recommend that you approach local businesses that already have existing listings online as well as retailers with access to online catalogs.
